Chorus is open to any VHS student as an elective. Students must have a fine arts credit to graduate and two trimesters of chorus fulfills this requirement. These students will present a concert at the end of each trimester and also have the opportunity to compete in a vocal contest in February as a soloist, in an ensemble or in the choir. Those students which earn a superior(1) rating qualify to sing at the state competition.
Show Choir is an auditioned group of 23 singers. Students choreograph their own performances. The choir represents VHS by performing for community organizations. The Show Choir travels to Branson each May for their final stage show.
